“We worked with Hólos Architecture + Design to do the interiors and aesthetics of our new home and were very impressed with the outcome. Rushika has an excellent eye for creative design, her attention to detail is impeccable, and she brings a modern aspect in her work, all within a reasonable budget. She has been intimately involved with every phase of the process, from initial layout to choosing a color scheme, to even picking fabrics for our new sofas. Rushika has made an effort to understand our needs, and listened to our inputs to ensure every part of the home reflects our taste. What particularly makes her stand out from the other designers is that she is also an architect. She posses a deep understanding of building structures, materials, scale, lighting, etc., and integrates this knowledge into a functional design. Her talent as a Photographer is a plus point! We were able to use many of her prints in different places of our home. Her photographs are stunning and capture beautiful landmarks that she has explored through her travels. Rushika is a complete package of talent and expertise. We would highly recommend Hólos for any home project, they will meet all expectations!”

“Steve and his crew at Made to Last Building Renovations did the installation of our commercial millwork in the Shaw Retail store in Victoria. The project was very complex containing wood columns, hanging wood bulkheads, oversize wood panels that needed to be scribed to drywall. Steve and his team had no difficulty with this install and executed it to a high level of quality. Communication was really good, they answer their phones when I need to get a hold of them and they are proactive on updating us on the status of the job. We are based out of Calgary AB, so it can be difficult to manage a job from out of town, Made to Last pretty well managed the entire install of the project. Billing and was fair and professionally done and there were no change order surprises. We would most certainly use Made to Last Building Renovations again in the future and are happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a solid, honest, quality oriented contractor.”
