Fearless describes both the spirit and work of Alison Damonte Design. After graduating from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in Political Science, Alison moved to San Francisco with no job, no apartment and one Niels Møller chair she found on the street. Though she always dreamed of becoming an architect, she soon realized her love of bold patterns, vivid colors and rare vintage furniture was better suited to interior design. Honing her skills at Martha Angus and Brayton Hughes Design Studios, Alison established her eponymous firm in 2012. Inspired by the idea of limitless possibility born in the Space Age and a desire to express personality with color Alison and her team bring a playful, modern sensibility to every project. Whether designing a Berkeley home for a busy, art-loving family or an urban, rock and roll pied-à-terre, the San Francisco-based firm infuses each project with whimsical, California cool.
