Cathy Rhodes Interiors is a residential interior design firm specializing in creating elegant and comfortable living spaces. Her thoughtful approach to each project and attention to detail gives each home a unique ambiance that reflects the lifestyle and personality of the client. Cathy enjoys working on large projects as well as small ones. For each room she begins by utilizing traditional design elements to establish a furniture layout and color scheme that make sense for the space and the client’s needs. She then sets out to find the right pieces and fabrics to make the room fabulous and inviting. Whether its building a custom wet bar out of reclaimed pine for a family room or finding the right antique rug for a living room, her extensive contacts and resources enable her to pull together almost anything that she and a client dream up. She has commissioned a wide range of customized furniture and fixtures through craftsmen, such as a custom coffee table made out of cotton mill crates, iron furniture, unique lamps, beds and vanities. With three young children of her own she is always conscious of designing rooms that are both beautiful and functional.
