This is the third time we have had Rande help us with designing rooms in our home. She really takes the time to understand exactly what you want and has such a knack for finding exactly what you want! She is always in communication with vendors to make sure everything arrives as expected and deals with any issues immediately. You would think you were her only client. We appreciate all she has done for us, would highly recommend her and would absolutely have her help us again in the future.

This is the third project and second house that I've worked with Rande on, and I remain a massive fan. This time we did a large renovation of my new house, including a complete kitchen and master bedroom & closet remodel, and a refresh throughout the house to turn it into my home. Rande is phenomenal to work with -- she has impeccable taste, smart ideas, and makes great recommendations, but perhaps most importantly she really listens to you and your needs and preferences, and modifies and flexes to suit you. I also appreciate that Rande is not insistent on everything being "top dollar" -- she is incredibly flexible with price points, providing recommendations in a good range to allow you to choose where you want to spend more money, where a little less, etc. I so enjoy working with Rande, picking through her recommendations, giving feedback and knowing that we will land somewhere fabulous together. Rande also has great sources and contacts -- I've worked with many tradesman (including our general contractor) who she has recommended, and they have been universally terrific. I really can't say enough great things about Rande and would recommend her to anyone looking for a talented designer to work with.

As a very busy, single, professional with absolutely no talent for decorating or design, the project of designing my new home was to me very formidable task. I was looking for someone who was competent, efficient with time, collaborative, flexible, trustworthy and a great communicator. After meeting with a handful of designers, it was clear I wanted to work with Rande. She proved to be everything I was looking for and more. Rande is warm, talented, resourceful, and made my life so much easier- taking care of things while I was away busy at work. She took my feedback and incorporated my personal likes and passions into the design of my home. She was easily available to answer questions and always returned my phone calls promptly. There were many times I was anxious about a decision- not knowing how things might look, but Rande was very patient and reassuring. The outcome was more than I could have asked for, and it was completed in the time frame I desired! I recently had a house-warming party and received so many compliments on my beautiful home. Rande was exceptional in every way! Rande re-did most of our 2nd home in LA: new floors, windows, bathroom design, layout for all the rooms, furniture purchases and accessories. Our house is more than I could have dreamt of! It is so beautiful and a perfect mix of our taste and Rande's design expertise - with everlasting appeal in mind. Every time I see the house, I pinch myself from what it was to what it is now. And everyone who has come by has commented on the design. Beyond the end result, I just love Rande's approach. - She puts in so much care into her clients and the houses she works on. Rande was originally booked and couldn't take me on, but I just loved our first conversation, that I was hoping she could squeeze me in. But Rande gives all to her clients, and she didnt want to take me on if she couldn't give me her time or if it took away from another client. That is a reflection of who she is and what she gives. Thankfully things changed and we were lucky! She was patient with us through out, and educated us on getting the best contractors for our needs, as this was the first time I was doing such a big design project. - What made Rande stand out the most (besides her design expertise) is her approach to project management. We don't live in LA (this was our 2nd home). Rande felt so much responsibility to make sure the work was done to perfection because we weren't there. I was at peace knowing that Rande had her eyes on everything. She also would take full advantage of any of my visits. She'd come prepared with multiple tiles, floor samples, rugs, etc that we would burn through decisions so fast and seamlessly. Then she'd mail me packages by room on additional decisions (e.g window coverings and pillows). - When it came to meetings, Rande was very flexible. I work full-time and wasn't in person - so when I had moments, I would reach out and she was just so good at text, phone, zoom - whatever I needed. She understood my style so I felt heard and decisions were made seamlessly. - And to top it off, the project was completely on time. She worked so well with our contractor and ensured that the entire house was ready for when we arrived. Literally doing an entire house within months. We had the best reveal with no hiccups. - Finally she also has empathy for other people's budgets. Rande was great at high and low combinations vs spending money if there was budget. She went to Home Goods for many accessories. They looked amazing and thats what I wanted vs putting in money into that. But she also knew when to challenge and urged for high quality dining chairs and unique living side chairs that I am in love with now! I cannot say enough great things about Rande - and I would work with her again in a heart beat!

I was drawn to Rande by her portfolio and positive reviews. She’s a wonderful designer who is incredibly easy to work with. The ease was most important to me. My project was large and often overwhelming but Rande was reassuring and kept me focused on our end design goal. I'm gonna be honest. My fiance and I lived in a mish-mash of our two styles (and in my case, mostly no style at all!) Then we met Rande! From the get go we knew we made the right choice. She was friendly, professional and had fantastic taste. She welcomed our input and made it come to life in a way where finally felt our home was "ours." And being a little "change adverse" myself, not all the changes were massive. Sometimes it was just a touch here and there that made a HUGE difference. On top of that, she connected us with wonderful contractors we never would have had access to, or would have invested months and months chasing. She made it more than stress free. She made it a joy! I had been considering (dreading?) a home renovation for years (decades?). Those I knew who had done it only offered horror stories. I have a stressful job-- they warned me I wouldn't be physically/mentally able to go to work while renovating my aging home. I did my diligence and discovered Rande. Rande has been an asset in our home renovation. She knows the process inside and out, and helped us keep our sanity with all the deadlines and decisions. I have had the great pleasure of working with Rande Leaman on two remodeling projects now (master bedroom/bathroom and full kitchen gut, dining, living and family room remodel), and it has been an outstanding experience. Initially, Rande has a great eye and impeccable taste. But most importantly, she really listens to you, and therefore her design ideas and specific suggestions are very personal to YOUR home and preferences. She is also sensitive to budget issues, and will not push really expensive choices on you unnecessarily (although she will tell you where it is important to spend a little more money vs where you can save some). Rande also brings so much to the table in experience, understanding of design and regarding remodeling projects more broadly -- making her very skilled at anticipating needs, helping to walk you through the various steps and likely timing of aspects of the project, and being a great manager of the overall project. Rande also is well-connected with great contractors/subcontractors for virtually ever stage of a remodel -- I have had excellent experiences with everyone she brought to work on all aspects of my project. Bottom line, I would unequivocally recommend Rande to anyone seeking a quality designer. Oh, and she is absolutely delightful as a person too, making the whole experience fun and enjoyable.

Rande is amazing!! We were interested in remodeling our kitchen and dining room, as well as refreshing our living room and back bedrooms. Rande is a godsend! My husband and I found Rande on Houzz and met with her while we were in the midst of planning our wedding and needing to do a complete overhaul of our newly purchased fixer upper. We were a bit overwhelmed to say the least. Rande is extremely personable and organized and has wonderful, calm energy. She did a great job in blending our styles together, as well as those of our sons when designing their bedrooms and bathroom. She also kept our contractor on track and made sure that he and his team were meeting our design needs. We loved working with Rande, and everyone was thrilled with the completed project. We specifically worked with Rande to remodel our entire second floor and look forward to working with her on our bottom floor, which will be a major undertaking!

I met Rande after two previous designers didn’t work out. From our first consultation I was blown away. Her ability to pick up on my personal taste and creative vision is incredible. Every item she chose connected with me in a way she couldn’t possibly have known without some level of ESP lol. She’s saved me so much time and money. I no longer spend days/weeks searching for that perfect piece only to realize it doesn’t fit the room dimensions or match once delivered. My job requires my home to be “insta ready” and shared daily with followers. The home is my canvas and sets the stage for the rest of my brand. Initially, Rande was only to furnish one room but after witnessing the amazing transformation and the positive effect on both my business and mental health, I’ve asked her to do the entire house. Unfortunately, some existing structural issues were discovered and now Rande is helping remediate those as well. I’ve never had much luck with contractors. They either ghost me or give a ridiculous estimate 5x the real price. I’m so grateful to have Rande overlook the entire project, be my advocate, make sure everything is done in a timely manner and on budget! She’s also an absolutely wonderful human. I can’t imagine working with anyone else.

I hired Rande to help me pick out and design the interior of my condo in Los Angeles, as I know nothing about design myself. Rande has been patient and flexible. Most importantly she has listened to my needs and picked out looks that match my taste and preferences, rather than impose her own as some designers tend to do. I contacted Rande to see if she had any time to consult with us. She basically dropped everything and came to the rescue that very same day. The shape and location of our family room has always made it a real challenge for us to furnish, but Rande came up with creative solutions and we couldn't be happier with the result. Taking into account all of our needs, (holiday parties, book club, dogs, tall men) she guided us through making furniture and fabric choices, always being mindful of cost. We highly recommend Rande as an interior designer. We contacted Rande to help us this year when we moved into a new construction from an older traditional home. The new home was fairly stark, with gray floors and white walls. Our old furniture did not fit. Rande spent some time with us getting to know what we like, and then came back with a plan. Rande has an excellent eye for color, texture, and fabric. She provided us ideas and options in a variety of price points, so we could mix and match consistent with our taste. Rande is a consummate professional and delivered as promised, and on budget. . Most importantly, she listens. While she has a creative vision; she is not married to it, and would listen to our feedback and pivot to add other ideas that we had. She has excellent contacts with tradesmen and manufacturers and she handled everything so we had no hassles when it came to deliveries and installation. When there was an issue with a dye lot on a carpet, she jumped on it and had the situation resolved immediately. Rande has turned our new house into a home. We are absolutely thrilled with the results, and will be hiring Rande to help us in the future.

I can't say enough about Rande. I just finished a remodel on two bathrooms and a fireplace. Rande made what is usually a nightmare process so easy. She is a great at listening and understanding what a client wants. I get overwhelmed shopping for tile, flooring etc. and Rande understood and brought me several samples to choose from. She made it difficult for me to make choices, because everything worked. Rande was always available by phone, email or text and would go to my house several times a week to make sure the project was going well. She also recommended a great contractor. Found Rande on the Houzz website. I liked her portfolio. She helped us pick out fabrics for our new furniture,drapes, etc. She is kind and not demonstrative. We love how she put all of this together. You will not go wrong using her expertise.

We’ve had Rande come out to our house twice to help us with ideas for paint colors, tiles, furniture, etc. (during and after remodeling). She is very knowledgeable and friendly. I would be happy to recommend her and would not hesitate to use her services again.

Rande did a great job for us. We had remodeled our kitchen (using another designer) and were unhappy with the result. We interviewed a number of prospective designers and she was, by far, the most impressive. Rande was empathetic, creative, sensible and, most importantly, she "listened " to us and understood what we were looking for. She gave us numerous options--all of which were good--and then, coordinated with her team to complete the project efficiently and with no drama and no surprises. We would use Rande again in a heartbeat.

I have known Rande for around 4 years now and over the years have done numerous projects throughout 5 different homes. Where do we start? We have been working with Rande for several months now. Rande is an amazing person and designer. She is so patient and helpful. And she is never too busy to answer questions. Another big plus for us was her attention to our project. At one point we were in a real panic because the original quartz counter top we wanted for kitchen was not available because a larger developer bought all the slabs! Out of anyone's control and was chosen before Rande came onto project. Rande came in to save the day! Rande was able to make a few phone calls and her choice was better than we could have imagined! I am so grateful to have had Rande work with me on updating my 70 year old paneled den. I was totally overwhelmed trying to make choices on my own. We refaced an old brick fireplace and hearth, replaced floors, built new steps, curtains, painted, did electrical upgrades and all new furniture. The works. I get overwhelmed easily when I have too many choices to pick from. Rande was a master at showing me the 3 or 4 perfect pieces of tile, fabric, flooring, etc to choose from. It was such a relief to have such great choices at my fingertips. I used one of the contractors she recommended. She discussed the project in detail with him and was always there to answer any questions the workers had. I am now enjoying my beautiful new den and will be happy to use Rande again for any future projects. As a matter of fact, we did start on the dining room already.

We're almost done with our RE-VAMP and we could not be happier! My husband and I have lived in our home for nearly 13 years and we have never really "loved" it. We finally decided to attack the list of upgrades we've been working on for a decade. After one day of shopping for kitchen backsplash, we realized we were not the "weekend warrior" types, and wouldn't be able to do this alone. I got on Houzz to search for a decorator and didn't see anyone who spoke to me, until Rande. I immediately contacted her, and I'm so happy I did. We have felt so comfortable with her, and so very happy. Our initial meeting was great. She got to know our likes and dislikes, and didn't leave until she felt confident she "got" us. And boy, did she ever!! Love, love, love what Rande did for our bedroom! The room desperately needed to be updated. Rande's keen eye and great sense of style made all the difference for us. Rande is wonderful! She did a beautiful job designing my new home. She helped with furniture placement and selected many beautiful pieces of furniture including a dining room table, office desk, coffee table, and TV stand. She also picked out an adorable front porch bench. She had pillows made and two chairs recovered that look gorgeous. She also seIected and placed wall hangings. I am a busy working mom, and she would often be at the house to let workers in while I was away- I joked that it felt like elves transformed my home while I was working!

We had a specific budget that was smaller than our wish list of projects. We hired Rande who delivered not only beautiful and livable spaces but also guided us through the processes in order to keep us in budget. Rande is creative and delightful with work with. Rande was responsive and remarkably fast in turning around great results. She provides her professional opinion but never forgets that it is your house, not hers. Relatively new to the LA market and needed a designer to partner with on a small (sub $40k) project in our new home. I have never before written a review but I have been so impressed and have had such a wonderful experience with Rande,I decided to write a review so others could know what a life saver she has been for us. I had never worked with a designer before but decided I really needed help since I wanted to remodel the kitchen and change the color scheme of our new home. I will never regret that decision. Rande has helped us with every step and more! She is excellent with communication and keeping the projects progressing on time and at the same time making sure each detail is covered and the quality of the work is outstanding! I highly recommend Rande for interior design! She is amazing and has helped me for the past year as my time and budget has allowed. I had only one material possession that meant a lot to me which was an old tattered picture that has been passed down to five generations. Rande added this and that... found some great old pieces and had them reupholstered, had some pieces custom made, and found great new pieces for what turned out to be really fabulous. In addition to designing an entire room, she helped me with a partial remodel in the bathroom which she made look like a million bucks for a very little amount and transformed my dinning and living space. Rande just helped me redo my entire living room and I am loving it! It changed the look of my house in such a great way. If is warm and cozy but elegant and modern. She helped me find great pieces from all over at really nice prices as well. I have pets and finding a rug that worked and was durable and washable was a challenge, but she had a great rug source that has the perfect one. I was really stumped about what to do in my guest room because the room is so funky...a headboard couldn't fit between two windows without partially covering them up. We engaged this design company twice to design three rooms in our home and we could not be more pleased with the results. The rooms were transformed! Rande has a great vision and it was a pleasure to work with her. We have a five-bedroom house in a Cape Cod style. We first worked with Rande to fully furnish and design the front room and to re-design a living room using an existing couch. We wanted a space that felt sophisticated yet welcoming to our young children. Rande found beautiful texture in the rugs and fabric for the couch and great pieces of furniture to enhance the space. A year later we engaged Rande to re-design our master bedroom. I was seeking to create a serene retreat which Rande accomplished by re-upholstering two family heirloom chairs, selecting a new bed, bench and nightstands and coordinating wallpaper, rug and fabrics. The result is flawless and the process was fun.
