The Perfect Paint Color

We hired Jaci to select paint colors for our exterior. We had previously met with our painter’s designer, but when we swatched the colors, we hated it! We found Jaci online and set up a date. She spent 4-5 h at our house, looking at swatches in different places, different lighting. When she showed us her selections, we were surprised and unsure- it was green! She gave us her top choices plus an alternate for each area to be painted- the body of the house, trim, doors, and fences/garage. We trusted her selections and her process, bought a can of paint, and painted a wall…and it was perfect! She uses the style of the house, architecture, and surroundings to help the house fit in to its environment. We couldn’t be happier with the result!

We spent weeks sorting through paint chips before buying samples for interior redo. As soon as applied samples to walls it was evident our choices were not good. We could spend a fortune on paint samples, or we could hire a color consultant. We called Jaci. We wanted a good monotone color - keep it simple. Jaci spent over 4 hours at our home, looking at our rooms, the furnishings, decorations, lighting, etc. she presented us with a palette of 7 colors total - unique rooms, accent walls, complementary trims… way out of our comfort zone but the colors all worked together and looked great, so with a leap of faith we had our painter apply the scheme as designed by Jaci. One word results - Awesome! This is our second time consulting with Jaci. A few years back she designed the exterior colors for our home. What a change! After many failed attempts to pick a proper house color ourselves we hired Jaci. Many months after painting I could not be more happy and confident in the colors she recommended. The look of our house went from a faded peach we hated into a set of bolder colors we really love, including painting the house, the trim, the stucco retaining wall, the brick retaining wall, and our stucco fountain base. I am very sure if we painted using any of the six colors my husband and I got samples of before we got Jaci's help I wouldn't be happy. She noted and we talked about the neighborhood palette. She went back and forth comparing paint chips with the concrete, with the roof, with the brick and stone. In short she thought about this about 10x++ more than I had. She presented us with some options and was very receptive to feedback. She was prompt and good with communication and wanted to ensure we really felt like we got what we wanted out of her services. I'm glad we decided to hire her rather than spending a lot of money for a result we would not have been happy with. When we decide to do a kitchen remodel it was a no brainer to try to again hire Jaci to help us put together something that we will love. The thoughts of "where do we start first" and "would the cabinets really go with those floors" and "do we even know all the options we have at this point, shouldn't we talk to someone?" have again led us to reach out for Jaci's services and it's wonderful to be confident that we are going to again work with someone we really liked working with, and most importantly knowing we will be happy with the results.

Jaci is amazing. After a year of being sequestered at home during Covid we desperately wanted change the paint colors in our home, but had no idea what we wanted. The hubs and I planned for two years to paint the house. As soon as he retired we had the time, funds, and excitement for the project. We prepared for months (he's doing it himself, first time). We're off and running. Full stop. What we couldn't have planned for is not understanding color and how it looks/reacts to the different surfaces on our house. After six weeks, the front of our house was a giant patchwork of paint swatches. It was embarrassing! bold colors/ blues and yellows all over the front of the house, and if you get the color shade wrong it's frightening. We knew we needed help, and Jaci came to the rescue. Jaci was wonderful in the right color needs for inside and outside of a Historical Home in South Park. She came out three times to make sure the "light" was bright enough to make a clear decision.
