Mural Art - Wall Murals and Custom Paintings

@MS Colours Inc, "actually" I must say that I find it extremely amusing that someone that faux finishes walls, with literally gallons of texture would comment on the after effects of mural work. It would be just as easy for me to say that a client wanted me to paint directly over a wall that has one of your texture finishes on it and me explaining that it would take an exorbitant amount of "prep work" so the texture is not visible in my mural art. Let's just assume that my clients and definitely yours are well aware ahead of time that we will be placing product on the walls that will indeed raise the level of the wall from its pristine condition. The difference between wallpaper and what we provide is that the customer knows that the wall is being custom worked. The point I'm suggesting and others on this topic, is that wallpaper could have unwanted surprises down the road, such as tearing the drywall. I was called to a home once to paint custom murals where wallpaper was currently installed. We used the best products we could find and the wallpaper simply refused to come off without tearing the drywall in huge chunks. Ultimately, the client decided to do an old world multi layered texture finish directly over the damage and what was left of the existing wallpaper to hide it. Problem solved, but at the expense of not having me do the fine art. It wouldn't surprise me if your company has done the same thing in the past?

I must say, that your real venetian plaster glace finish is exquisite! I know how back breaking it is to do that, especially on a ceiling so I commend you on that. Truly exceptional work!

All the best to you and your company,

Tom
