Love the front parlour treatment - the window seat looks so inviting. Not so sure about the blue treatment on the book cabinets. All the detail is lost for me and it feels very heavy.

This is brilliant! I particularly love the reading room, ingenious way to have room for the books, and I wholly appreciate how that fabulous blue paint was used in the space.

I assume the ceiling was originally wood? I know a lot of people would chastise you for painting it white, but I personally think that in many cases it works better to have wood on the floor and a brightceiling.
