The sconces are from Universal Lighting in Toronto. The tiles are paradox orange from Stone Tile in Toronto. The stone is Ledgerock. Hope that helps.

It is Revere Pewter......there are large windows so it might seem lighter.
  • Kate Betancourt
Revere Pewter is more of a greige... not a dark grey. Looks right to me! It's in our basement too and we love it.

I don't see why it can't be done. Centre the metallic tiles over the opening and then put stone on either side.

It is Porcelain tile. You will have to compare costs as I don't remember the price of each. I was trying to achieve this look.

There are so many variables......it is best to cost out the materials you like and then get quotes. Hope that helps.

The fireplace is 42" wide and the entire width is about 8'. The tile is individual and the stone comes in sections. Hope that helps.
