Beautiful cedar garden shed with grey metal doors and windows across the top of the front. This is the view from the side. We added a small porch to the front, and then it snowed! 7' x 10' shed.

Inside, we built cedar benches and work tables to allow for plenty of space for pots, plants, and gardening tools. A convenient utility sink was also installed, along with ample lighting over the work area.

A renowned St. Louis mid-century modern architect's home in St. Louis, MO is now owned by his son, who grew up in the home. The original detached garage was failing.
Mosby architects worked with the architect's original drawings of the home to create a new garage that matched and echoed the style of the home, from roof slope to brick color. Several pieces from the original garage were salvaged to be used on and around the new detached garage. The design of the wood overhead garage door mimics those found at Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin in Wisconsin.

As families grow, the inevitable happens... You continue to get more stuff. Tools, equipment, collectibles and stuff that your significant other wants to get rid of keep adding up. Where does all that stuff go? Unless you live in a mansion, you end up running out of space. Sometimes even adding a shed is not enough. However, we sometimes underestimate the true storage potential of sheds. Did you know all that space by the rafters and back wall is the perfect spot for a loft? Just look at how much stuff you could store in an overhead storage loft. Storage lofts can add up to 40% more overhead storage space. When shopping for the right shed to grow with your family needs, consider adding a loft. It's an economical way of maximizing your sheds true potential.
