“Over seven years, we have used Axtell Construction for a complete kitchen remodel, replacement of all windows in our home, and a new roof. The roof required complete stripping of the old shingles and replacement of 11 sheets of plywood. In addition, Axtell replaced the fascia all around the house. I have always been 100% satisfied with their work in general, their attention to detail, the quality of their materials and the finish work on each job. Their prices are fair. If I had a building project to do today, I would call them first. The price below is for the roofing job.”

“Jim has painted the exterior of my Arts-and-Crafts style house, and painted several interior rooms in the house. I also recommended him to my boyfriend, where he painted a good deal of the outside porches and trim. His work is exceptionally meticulous, especially the prep work. The paint jobs last a long, long time because he is careful to do it right. No sloppy work. He always comes on time and completes the job in an expedient manner. His bid will not be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for!”

“Craig Motter rebuilt my basement door frame & installed an inside door with a screen door. There was a shabby frame around the doors, so first he had to rip the inside frame off, then remove both doors and finally remove the rotted outside frame. He built a brand new frame and after both doors were installed, he painted it as well. He cleaned up everything and took it away, leaving nothing for me! It looks fantastic and beautiful enough to be a front door never mind a basement door! He also installed a beautiful PVC mailbox post and a new mailbox! The old mailbox was completed rotted away and hanging there. I bought a beautiful PVC Mailbox post/mailbox but it was hollow inside. I didn't even know that it would make it much stronger if you put pressure treated wood inside it first before you cement it into the ground! Craig went to Lowes, bought the wood and put it inside the PVC. Then he and his employee Dillon dug a nicer hole, filled it with cement and place the PVC post into it. When it hardened the next day, he put my mailbox together and according to my mail lady, it's the perfect height. All she has to do is drive up to it and drop in the mail. Great, no more mail visiting my neighbors! I would highly recommend Motter Builders for all of your building needs. Craig is very professional and detail oriented. He listens carefully to every thing you ask him about or ask him to do. He does not try to sway you in anyway and if he feels you do not need something he will tell you! I wanted new windows because I thought mine did not drop down for cleaning but he showed me that they did! I bought my home in 2013 and the sellers never told me I could do this with the windows. It was interesting to watch an older adult standing on a ladder washing her windows outside! Want to find out what Craig Motter's Company can do for you "Call Them"--believe me, you won't be disappointed!”

“we had an outdated kitchen. we were not looking forward to tearing it up. We scheduled an appointment with Crispin. He was on time, had schetches with him from our phone conversation that let us know he was listening. His final draft was full of creative ideas and we were impressed with his knowledge and attention to detail. he may not be the cheapest contractor but the phrase "you get what you pay for" is most defintely true when you see his work. We will use him in the future to update our bathrooms. He also an approximately 100 wrap around metal deck to our home. Stunning!!!!”

“I was in BIG trouble! Due to a leak in my roof that had gone unnoticed for years, the entire side wall of my house was in danger of crashing to the ground. As Rob exposed the areas, it kept getting worse and worse than I had imagined. The rot was everywhere, and he discovered a lot of "sistering" from previous attempts to fix it. They were also rotten. Rob handled every aspect of this huge job with professionalism, determination, and sheer genius. There was NO WAY he was going to let my house fall apart, and it is now better supported than when it was first built back in 1964. I was really in a panic about it, but Rob's confidence was very calming. He reassured me every inch of the way. That was most appreciated. The supports he built were engineered specifically for the job. Safety was definitely a concern. Rob had to support one area before he could remove support from other areas. It was incredible to watch him work. As the job progressed towards completion, my smiles came more often. What a relief to have the house repaired! I am VERY happy with the result! This was the second of many projects that Rob has done for me. I will be submitting more reports (all excellent) on Rob Severs and Picture Perfect Home Improvements. Hire him with confidence and high expectations. You will not be disappointed.
