“Anyone considering a home renovation would be wise to use Olivia Schaeffer at KRN Residential Design. Olivia came to our home several times to view our pre-renovation home. She came to understand our personalities, lifestyle and our vision of what our finished home would look like. She then arranged a meeting with Kelly Nadler at KRN Residential Design who was able to give us engineering advice as we were planning on wall removals, one of them being a load bearing structural wall. We received a quote which described the design work proposing for the renovation. The quote included the structural design for the removal of the wall, 3D renderings showing various views of the house interior as per our design intent, conceptual planning, and follow up design and consultation meetings. Once we gave the approval, Olivia provided the 3D renderings giving a clear picture of what the finished renovation would look like, which was very exciting! A kitchen and main floor renovation is an overwhelming endeavour. Through the project, Olivia was a voice of reason and a calming person to work with every step of the way. Olivia was there to help make our dream kitchen become a reality. Olivia was very helpful in us selecting the contractor who guided the renovation project. She helped us choose our new flooring, wall colours, meetings with the cabinet and island millworker, pick out our quartz island and countertop, along with other interior design ideas. “Heartgold Homes completed our entire basement renovation including office, wet bar, bedroom, and 3 piece bathroom. Great project! Quality work, and such good coaching along the way as we encountered unexpected issues and made changes- moving plumbing for toilet and shower, fixed unlevel floor to be able to properly install flooring, worked through multiple coats of mud when had humidity issues, and added wet bar part way through project. Beautiful shelves - sanded/stained - what a show piece! We only wet over budget for unplanned wet bar Thanks Mike, Mitch, Colby, Kent, Brian, and the rest of your team that helped out!!
