Following thorough research, I decided to hire Shelley Sass of Shelley Sass Designs to renovate the kitchen and bar area in our recently acquired home. I cannot speak highly enough of her. Not only is she an absolute pleasure to work with but she is such a talented interior designer and home renovation expert! Shelley is a consummate professional who goes above and beyond to ensure the job is completed to perfection. She manages every step of the project and is communicative, punctual and very hands on. She not only excelled in her work but also demonstrated exceptional professionalism by surpassing our expectations to ensure flawless completion of the project. Together with her husband, Stephen Sass, of Sass Construction and Design, they delivered the project on schedule and within the budget! The final outcome exceeded my expectations! I am so delighted with their services that I am planning to enlist their expertise for my upcoming projects as well.

We cannot recommend Shelley Sass Designs highly enough. Shelley helped us remodel our house prior to moving, including helping us throughout the entire remodeling and design process and managing and coordinating every step and every vendor. She helped us with everything including picking appliances, designing the kitchen and selecting cabinets and stone, replacing the flooring, electrical and plumbing work, designing and installation of closets and garage storage, and selecting paint colors and all new furniture. Literally, we cannot imagine going through this process without Shelley’s support and guidance. We continue to go to her for advice, and look forward to working with her again on bathroom and office redesigns. She has a meticulous eye to detail, and spoke up to help us get all the details right. She always had our best interests in mind.

What an incredible remodel experience! Shelley’s attention to detail and design sense helped bring my vision of my dream kitchen to a reality. This project was completed prior to the projected finish date due to her excellent time management and oversight - daily check-ins and updates made sure everyone involved in the project stayed focused and on task. It is hard to believe it was less than 2 months ago we had an unexpected flood in our master bath. It was just before christmas, in the middle of COVID and the last thing we wanted to do was a remodel. Our relator had recommended Shelly so I sent her an SOS text asking to speak with her to bid on the job. Within minutes, on the weekend, we were doing a face time walk through of the space. By the end of the week we had met in person, signed a contact and gone shopping for tile and plumbing fixtures. Throughout the entire process Shelley was communicative, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. She hired the most wonderful contractor who I adore (and who ever says that about a contractor?) She helped us design and implement a stunning master bath while keeping us on time and in budget. Her taste is impeccable. My only problem is now I want to her to help me update and restyle the rest of the house. Thank you, Shelley. We 100% could not have done the work so beautifully and so fast with out you.

I had a very long list of items to tackle in my house and Shelley attended to every single one! It turned out to be the perfect REFRESH and Shelley made it very easy. She was just as attentive with the small projects as with the big ones. We selected some various furniture pieces for my downstairs (beautiful!), helped me select a paint color for the interior, and supervised two bathroom remodels. The bathrooms turned out fabulous. Shelley is a great person to know and an amazing designer! Shelley was with us at the beginning of the purchase of our new home. It was Shelley's designing ability, her foresight to see beyond what the home initially looked like when we bought it, to what it could look like with the right touches, that created the perfect style for us with warmth and comfort that we enjoy now. Our old fashioned master bathroom was in need of serious help. Shelley Sass was recommended to me by a neighbour and from our very first meeting I knew our project was in great hands. Shelley is a great communicator, creative and works extremely hard. Shelley listened carefully to our ideas and needs, really helping us to define and execute our vision for the bathroom. From choosing tiles to faucets Shelley saved us so much time (and money) by narrowing down the choices for us. We recently moved to LA and were struggling with decorating our new apartment. We contacted Shelley and she sorted us out! She helped us determine what color scheme to use in our living room and what rug, sofa, and chairs we should buy. We were on a budget but she showed us great websites to look at that we weren't finding on Google ourselves. We saved a lot of money based on her recommendations. We also had a bunch of things that we brought from our old place that didn't really fit in with the new look we wanted. Shelley helped us decide what to keep and how to arrange things the right way. Even though she was in San Diego (and we were in LA), she was able to help us so much. We used her E-Styling service, so we were on Facetime and emailing about the project. She is really responsive and understood what we wanted (even though we sometimes didn't know how to express it!). She is really nice and has great taste. Shelley was an immense help to me in renovating my condo. She respected my views and never forced anything on me. But due to the fact that her taste is impeccable, I found her suggestions to be marvelous. I am a real estate broker in Rancho Santa Fe, California. Shelley visited me at one of my open houses and we discussed how important staging would be for a successful marketing campaign. I have a $2M listing in Del Mar, with ocean view which is beautiful & highly upgraded- but had been decorated in very dark colors, with heavy, dark draperies- not at all what buyers are looking for today. She provided a proposal to us with additional suggestions of painting the main rooms in a lighter color. Her bid was very reasonable ( I have had stagers bid other projects ) it included her time in choosing all the furniture, her own accessories & purchasing any additional items required, choosing live plants for the house, the first month's furniture rental/move-in/move-out- and of course, her talent in 'putting it all together,' for $6750. After the first month, furniture rental is $1000/month. We painted the main rooms and that was @ $3000. All told, the house was transformed for about $10,000. It made a huge difference ! I have had two open house events since the project has been completed and the house has received rave reviews from agents and neighbors. It will certainly achieve a faster sale for a higher price. Shelley communicated with me throughout the process, asked for my input on choosing pieces and creating the 'look' I wanted- she listened to me. I highly recommend her services.
