Do you think this scheme would work well if the wall color was dark and the headboard lighter? thanks!

I just purchased a headboard identical to this, except in a linen color and with nail studded trim. The wall color I'm working with is an "elephant grey". I'm thinking this just became my inspiration photo, although it's hard for me to visualize the color differences. Any thoughts?

Go onto www.benjaminmoore.com website and click this photo (or your own) into the site and choose the colour you are using to add to the picture. You will have a better visual idea.
Suggestion: Be sure that the grey is deeper than the linen colour so there is a contrast, otherwise the headboard with just blend with the wall and you want it to be the focus.

I have a wall that is a taupy brownish color and a white headboard and it looks great
