Furniture Layout with Fireplace, too many entry points, no walls

Help!! I want comfortable seating but have too many entry points and not a lot of room. room is 12 X 30 from the center of fireplace hearth. otherwise 15x20 in window corners. Would love a sectional for the family. Went to Room & Board and the designer there was pretty stumped too and designed a layout you could only "get to" by walking to the front of the fireplace and cat walking back in, if that makes sense? Thought of putting a MASSIVE double chaise sectional https://www.google.com/search?q=double+chaise+sectional+pottery+barn&espv=2&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=JFSvU8H7Is-myASNl4CIDw&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAg&biw=1280&bih=909#facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=TxfKMuCr9t2SUM%253A%3BRluHmn5xDX2zzM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fab.pbimgs.com%252Fpbimgs%252Fab%252Fimages%252Fdp%252Fwcm%252F201409%252F0013%252Fimg68c.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.potterybarn.com%252Fproducts%252Fpearce-4-piece-upholstered-chaise-sectional-suede%252F%3B558%3B501
under railing wall, but I know it would make the room unbalanced and is a gross amount of furniture and upholstery. I just want comfort to lounge with our two little ones. Is there a way to retain that balance on the other half of the room. TV watching is mandatory! RHNY#
