How clever of you Rina! The arm chair is a good idea Rina. I wonder if I should try switching the location of big TV and loveseat. The loveseat would be directly opposite the large sofa, and back to the stairway. The TV would blocki a lot of the front window, but there is another window on the side wall right next to it.

Hi again. It may be a personal thing of mine, but I don't like a TV placed in front of a window -- either you need drapes to close when you're watching during the day, or you suffer from the bright light around the screen straining the eyes. And the side window might also affect the visual quality unless you have closed drapes there, too -- which would make for a rather dark room at TV time. Also, I don't think it would make for comfortable viewing?

Can you put the table going the other direction and get some space from the dining area. Is it possible to flip the coach and TV? If you flip the TV and coach it would be nice to move the caach away from the wall, but it doesn't look like there is enough space.

I tried your idea of switching the TV with the couch. Sadly, it made the huge TV and gaming equipment too prominent of a view from the stairway and entrance. The view from sitting on couch is better facing the stairway.
The dining room is more narrow than the living room, so I can't turn the table.

I will replace the love seat with a reclining chair by the windows to ease crowding.

I would move the Dining Table and chairs more to the far end of the room if you have the space. And then move the Love Seat to the other side of the large sofa facing the door. The way you have it now is too close to the door, also by moving it facing the door you divide the two areas, you can move the small table that you have next to the door to another area it is better not to have too many items, a nice coffee table and end table with a table lamp will complete the Living Area.
