    It looks like a buff and tan limestone or some sort. I am from the Northeast and we have lots of granites in a real range of colors. While these pictures are not the best, this "buff" color granite is similar and quite handsome. I supplied the stone.

    The stone is local to Georgia and Alabama. We like to use local stones, especially field stone that is found in fields and not mined. The stone on the terrace surface is a blue stone typically found in the Northeast US.
