Naked pipe crisis! Help!
July 29, 2014
The framer built a box that will be drywalled in order to conceal part of the large black pipe that does not fit perfectly in the ceiling. It is right over the front door and ugly. Any "out of the box" ideas to turn this problem into a design feature or at least minimize the ugly effect??

why is the box so low? seems it doesnt have to be that deep?? but i would if you have to keep the depth, i would extend with part of the length of the wall, and put in some low voltage cans to act as wall washing light, then hang art .... would be easy to pull some electrical over that way right now.
