I've never had a problem wtih this. If you pull them as taut as possible when installing you should be OK. Good luck!

another idea to keep them from sliding is to do what i did... instead of using wire, i used an old stand of beads/necklace that had broken and could not be worn. that way, the earrings could could rest down in the slots between beads. this prevented them from moving and gave me built--in measurements/spacing for knowing how far apart to space the jewelry. it worked perfectly! and i love that i used old jewelry to display and organize the new jewelry instead of discarding it!!
