We recently bought a new house and need ideas for furniture placement. You walk into one big room (I think this is the living room) behind a half planter wall. The dining room is to the right of this room where you see a hanging light fixture. You step down two steps into the addition where someone had a wood burning stove at one time. This back room has only one solid wall because there is an additional window to the left of the wood stove platform. As far as the front room goes: I am removing the leaning bookshelf. Some homes in this area take those planter walls out and we are debating this down the road. Because we're trying to sell our other two houses, we aren't in for renovation right now; we just want to configure these rooms -- and are open to any and all suggestions!
