Is there more support for the bar than the 3 wood corbels we see?

I LOVE your breakfast bar - but how are the ends supported? My cabinetmaker is baffled!

My cabinet rep said that they use steel "L" shaped brackets that go down and connect to the back side of the base cabinets. I haven't seen it, but that's how it was described to me.
