Hi. Is dining table planned to right of island ? To save room could have a bench upholstered or not at the wall, and then will it be rectangular table? If your appliance will be s steel, maybe chrome legs....

You don't necessarily have to buy everything all at once, or at the same place, though that does make it easier....
along with your dark cabinets, I think of Pier 1 and the spicy colors they sell...

With the palette you have anything will work. My gut feeling is medium to medium dark wood with earth toned fabrics. However, you could also do other color palettes with lighter neutrals punctuated by pops of color.

What is your style? Traditional, contemporary, modern. country chic. Do you entertain formally, or are you more casual? Do you like bright colors? How big of a table can your space handle? Seating for 8, 10, 12?

If your just looking for wood color you can either go dark like your cabinets for a tied together look. Otherwise, medium browns would be the lightest you should go. I would definitely stay away from blond or red toned woods.
Look for woods like Wenge or black walnut for a deep, dark and rich look.
