I'm curious, what is housed in the island. Is this strictly storage? Also, are there 2 dishwashers?

The island contains cookbooks and a microwave. A single dishwasher by sink (beyond). Thank you.

Forgive me but I never found out where the counter tops came from? I live far way but love the look of this counter top? My house was ruined in Sandy Storm but this counter top will make the entire house glow... i love it... please tell me where I can get it... ?
