Landscape property with very large driveway, small upper yard and a lower yard?

My Property is almost a 1/2 acre however, it has a massive asphalt driveway that is in need of repair, a extremely small front yard with the backyard and yard on one side basically all slope with retaining walls. I installed a retaining wall and steps leading down to the lower yard which is a nice size dirt yard, I cannot grow anything on lower yard), so does anyone have any suggestions?

Is the driveway flat or slanted? I have some ideas for a flat driveway...

Perhaps you could make the lower yard a patio of sorts with potted plants or a vertical garden?

the driveway slants down as you leave the property, also it does not run straight it branches out which drives me nuts.
