I have a landing and a hallway that need lighting and I can't seem to find the right fit! One spot is a landing when you come up the stairs to the 2nd floor (and before you head to the third.) The other that is in the same view is an alcove around to the right - and there is yet another light fixture in the hallway off this area. (see photos.)

The ceiling by the landing is only about 8 1/2' (101") and the ceiling in the alcove is 103" This area is also enclosed so I need GOOD lighting, not just decorative.

My house is a 1917 Colonial but I do NOT want a bell jar style (dusty and a nightmare to clean!) But, I'm looking for something that has classic lines, ideally in an antique brass or bronze type of finish.

I could use ANY suggestions - I desperate and pulling my hair out so thanks in advance!
