So what can I do to eliminate cloudiness

Generally, cloudiness on marble is the result of etching due to exposure to chemicals. Marble is a relatively soft stone (Mohs hardness scale rating of 3, vs Mohs rating of 7 for quartz/granite, for comparison), and it's very sensitive to acidic as well as alkaline substances.

Cloudiness can be removed from marble by using a *marble polishing powder* or *marble polishing compound*. You can find them at your local Home Depot, or on Google Shopping / Amazon / Ebay. Please make sure to follow the directions of the polish/powder manufacturer's exactly.

Do NOT use a sealer yet - not until you've done the polishing (and as Kelly pointed out, you may not even need to - check with the tile manufacturer first).

I will need to purchase a marble polishing powder for use on my new marble tile kitchen counter top. After I've done this process, is their a product you would recommend that would act as a sealer to minimize stains and etching? I had used Miracle Sealant 511 Impregnator and as far as I'm concerned it did absolutely nothing to minimize what I've encountered.
