Unfortunately, this is rather difficult to answer for this installation. It was completed a few years ago and is actually done with an antique brick on a concrete base around the perimeter and a blackstar granite gravel topping that is ddressed above compacted concrete sub base material.

I have 5/8 blackstar gravel, aka Texas basalt around poured in place concrete pavers. Problem is my 3yo son likes through the rocks everywhere.how do I get the rocks to stay put? Does water still drain? Does it look still good/real up close?
