Need suggestions for improving acoustics of my great room

Are there any soundproofing products for walls or ceiling that aren't obviously soundproofing?

You can upholster walls in order to dampen sound.

Sorry - hit the wrong button. You can construct the wall in a way that helps prohibit the transmission of sound. There are several ways to do it but it does require reframing at least part of the wall. I also used a vinyl mat on a project once that had acoustic dampening properties.
