X's on glass?

Are the X's built into the glass or set on top of the glass? Simply stunning. My fav on Houzz by far!

HI...! Thank you so much. The "X" serves as a divider and is part of the door frame/face so the glass is actually behind it. There are a few close-up pics of this in the other images from this kitchen that will give you a better idea...good luck!!!
