I’m trying to choose a fabric for a chair that won’t break our budget. We have several kids plus a dog, so it needs to be durable and easy to clean. I’ve obtained samples of the Chenille Basketweave in Taupe and Pebble and have put cooking oil, ketchup, pencil, dry erase marker, etc on both and they both cleaned up well. I’m worried tough about pilling and durability. The chenille has a lot of loose threads on the edges and can be pulled apart if I picked at it enough. Any experience with this fabric would be helpful!
