Can you mix IKEA Enhet and Sektion cabinets?

I'm putting a small kitchen in our lower level. I need Enhet cabinets if I want any base cabinets with drawers (they come in 12" width, Sektion cabinets do not). But Enhet doesn't have corner cabinets while Sektion does. At IKEA today, when I asked the woman helping me if I could put a corner Sektion cabinet into the Enhet kitchen, she me gave a half-hearted 'yes'. I asked if she was sure, have others done it, and got another half-hearted 'yes'. She wasn't particularly helpful on things so I'm not confident in her response. Has anyone done this before? Or tried? Help?

My alternatives are either `1) get all Sektion and have no drawers in the kitchen or 2) get all Enhet and have no corner cabinets and lose that precious storage space in a small kitchen

Colors are different However, the plain white matte on the Enhets matches the Vallstena Sektion, which is also a matte white. I just combined the Enhets with Vallstena and save over $2000!!!

Regarding the toe kick, legs are different between the Enhets and Sektion so you have to get creative here. Either use L brackets to connect or modify the Sektion's legs to attack to Enhets, by cutting off the top piece of the leg. Lights all work the same, but you have to drill a small hole for the wire in the Enhets and in the Sektion, it is already done for you. For $2000, I will do the extra work!

ENHET seems to be a brand new IKEA kitchen system (supplemental to the existing SEKTION system) so I'm not qualified to answer, but I see that the premise of the new system is portability for people who move a lot (in Europe it's pretty common to take the kitchen cabinets with you when you move). By the way the SEKTION system 'kind of' has drawers for a 12" cabinet, if you opt for the pullout-style drawer. But whether the door styles match between the two systems I have no idea. They look similar but there may be subtle differences. In any event IKEA staff should be able to answer the question!

I agree this Enhet line is more aimed at Europen markets where your kitchen travels with you .I have the old Ikea system like this in my walk out basement for our bar they did not come with a 25yr warranty like the other more built in ones I also have but they certainly did not work together .

Just confirming you mixed the sektion doors with ehnet cabinets? I'd like to order too! I need ehnet 18' base cabinets, but I need the sektion doors to match the rest of the kitchen

The matte whites match. So I did the Sektion Vallstena cabinets together with Enhets. I didn't mix the cabinet with the doors, I kept the Sektion doors with the Sektion cabinets and the Enhet doors with the Enhets cabinets.

If you find a good designer at the store, they can help you thru this process
