Definitely no shutters or wood pasties. If the brick will not be all four sides, leave it off. What will the final posch columns be, hopefully no those as they look too skimpy. Paint the front door a brighter color and then landscaping. Come back after a year. Everyone wants black windows and white siding and then wonders they feel it looks bland...................

Second thought, I se no foundation that is even exposed enough to need brick.

You need landscaping, period. When you "add interest" to every bit of blank space on a house, you just get clutter. I wouldn't go window boxes either. Just plant some short shrubs.
