How exactly did you get moon roof and upper light fixture like that?

Thank-you for your interest! Our ceiling was originally 8 ft. and we raised it to 10ft. along the beams. We then placed two sky lights in the box (and added a filter) and molded the sky box around it to drop down a light Their is a beam that goes between the two skylights. We had to make sure the light fixture chain could be shortened however. Some do not. It is one of the favorite parts of our kitchen now! It was truly so dark before! I hope that helps!
