Please see the attached floor plan for my master bath. I would like to add a triangle corner bench opposite the shower head. Total shower floor size will be 60" x 34" (reserving 4" of the total 38" depth for the curb). I want the bench to big enough to sit on, but small enough not to be in the way when entering/exiting the shower. Bathroom will have classic design - shower will be tiled with white subway tile walls, a marble mosaic accent liner at chair rail height and a marble mosaic floor. Should I make the bench floating or a fully supported bump out? I've included a second pic from houzz which shows a corner bench in a similarly sized shower.
