This yellow is beautiful! Not too bright, not too light, and not too gold. Can you tell me the color/brand? Thanks!

Hi Rachel,

Yes, we agree, yellows can be difficult. This one is by Sherwin Williams SW6679 Full Moon. Also, with paint sometimes its best to find a color/tone you like and ask the paint store to half or even three-quarters tone it with white. That way you won't loose the tone and it won't be too dark. We also like Morning Sun SW 6672.

Even if you knew the exact brand, color, and finish it would not look like the pic once it's on your wall, in your room, in your light. Buy some sample pots and experiment! It's the only way.

Great advice Gate! Thanks...will do. I have been looking at fabrics as well to help me narrow down a few yellows to try :o)

How much would it change the color to half it with white? I just got a sample of this color to try it, but did not ask for white to be put in. If it looks too dark I will, but how does that help the tone?
