Thanks for asking and perhaps automation is not the correct word to use on our part. This pool has a wireless control system, Pentair's EasyTouch-8 system. A pool control system where all pool functions (heater, spa, lights, etc.) can be operated via wireless technology. With up to 8 accessory functions, you can put enhanced features like landscape lighting, waterfalls and fountains on a schedule. Beyond basic equipment control, the EasyTouch-8 system lets you program your equipment for optimum efficiency. I hope this helps and feel free to reach out if you have other questions.
