To knob or not to knob on a shaker door...

We are in the process of having an all white, drywall and cabinet unit built on our 16' great room wall. It will involve 12 shaker doors along the bottom. To avoid a kitchen-y look or a "repetitious handle" look, would it be appropriate to just have blank doors with push-to-open design? I think of traditional Shaker needing hardware. The room is light and transitional. Thanks for the help.
