casita ideas
Cool mirror for an entranceway and it would look nice on a gray wall... but it's probably too expensive so forget it.
I love plants in a house but I somehow kill them all. If there are plants, please have them be artificial. Thanks.
No fancy chandeliers please.
YUK! This looks like it's out of The Jetsons!
This furniture SCREAMS "comfortable".
These chairs sure look comfy.
IF there's room, a small storage space for albums or DVDs would be nice near the TV.
Hmmm. Hadn't thought about a sectional couch but that could just work.
An area carpet on a wood floor is always nice.
This floor lamp isn't bad.
I don't like drapes. I far prefer sheers at the window.
I don't know if it's the chair, or the lamps, or the dresser, or the metal picture on the wall, but I really like this setting.
I am not an open-shelf-with-everything-showing person.
This room looks comfy (chair with ottoman, couch w/ rounded arms). The room is a bit dark for my taste but cozy. Maybe with lighter wood it would look better.
This is nice because there are rods for 2 rows of short clothes and a rod for long clothes.
You had mentioned side lights on the vanity mirror. The ones in this picture won't give off enough light for a half-blind person like me. The lights would have to be much, much brighter.
If we're going to have a lounge chair, we'll need arms on it.
Now THIS is a good height for a TV.
Neither of us watch TV in bed. If there's room for 2 chairs and 1 footstool of some sort in the bedroom, then having the TV by the chairs would be perfect.
The drawers next to the bed are a nice alternative to a traditional night stand and offer more storage space. (But we will need a nightstand of some sort on both sides of the bed.)
This furniture looks comfy for a sitting area.
PERFECT chair and stool for sitting area in bedroom. There's even arms on the chair - I like that.
It would be nice if the TV were mounted just a tad lower so we don't have to look up to see it.
A full length mirror would be nice somewhere - perhaps on the inside of the closet door?
Those are gorgeous doors to a walk-in closet.
I like a canvas abstract painting above the bed.
Wow. These cupboards certainly are impressive and beautiful.
The drawers here have a nice sleek line.
I like the wall-mounted lights on either side of the bed, especially if they're on a dimmer switch like you have in your spare bedroom.
I'm not one for a lot of throw pillows all over the bed.
Inserted ceiling lights are also nice in a bedroom.
Like the ceiling shade!
Double-sided hanging file drawer - cool concept.
I'm not one for all these open shelves. It makes the whole room look messy. I prefer cupboard doors to cover the clutter.
This is nice, having the storage cupboards, hanging file, and then room for a printer on the bottom. It's all so efficient.
I like the idea of a designated place for hangers.
A built-in ironing board - this might be an interesting, space saving option.
This is kind of how my casita will look with the kitchen looking into the living room and the breakfast nook off to the side!
Chairs covered in cloth material can't be cleaned off and that will drive me up a wall.
These are pretty blinds to block out the sun.
I like this counter top, too.
I don't like the 'bench' type seating where people have to get up if someone wants to get out.
These chairs are novel and different - I think I like them.
These padded chairs look comfy, too, and the surface of the chairs can be cleaned off easily if any food spills.
You've got a pot of green grass like this at your house. I like it.
