Brothers Cement Tile did a wonderful job on an order of custom tiles for our vestibule. They came out great!
January 30, 2017
I am going to be very specific about my exact encounters with Brothers Cement Tile and will go into detail on exactly how they messed me up. However, because I know many people are looking for quick reviews I will just say this:
They do not stand behind their work AT ALL. If the tile has any issues then they will ignore your phone calls and emails and provide you absolutely no support. The tiles look nothing how look they look on the website so do not expect a beautiful finished product.
Details:
I originally ordered tiles from them in order for my bathroom contractor to install. They provided us with details on how to install, but I was very nervous because I heard horror stories about the tiles coming out dirty and permanently ruined. I noticed that the instructions on the website and the one that they sent me over email had many differences. When I inquired they just kept adding instructions to each email they sent (I have all of these emails and would love to attach if there is an option). In the end I was left with two different set of instructions and a bunch of "tips" from the various emails. When I tried to call to clarify they would not answer their phones or return my voice mails. My contractor was on a timeline so he went to install the tiles. I supervised the entire process to make sure he was doing it all correctly. Lo and behold it came out terribly, all dirty and ruined. THREE DAYS LATER (not over a weekend but three business days later) they finally called me back and said "of course the reason it happened what because the contractor didn't change the bucket of water when grouted 10-15 times". I responded nowhere on ANY of the instructions did it say to do so! They said that, and I quote, "All contractors mess up these tiles because they never worked with them before." So I asked, "if you know that everyone messes up why do you provide so many different instructions - why are your instructions not clear and contain all of the information that is needed?"
They didn't really ever answer that. Instead they said that if I pay for the tile again they themselves will install it and then they will guarantee that it will be perfect.
I should also state that they had the audacity to claim that they kept trying to call me but I never answered my phone. I asked them to provide screens shots of the call logs or the exact times that they tried. Of course they didn’t. I then called up AT&T to see if I had any calls from that number and they told me that they didn’t see anything from the phone number.
I picked the same tile and they themselves installed it and guess what IT LOOKS DISGUSTING - after only 2 months! I really wish I could add pictures but you are just going to have to trust me. The paint is fading and there are these marks that are appearing everywhere. Additionally when they installed it they ripped up the base board ruining the paint and then they left marks all of the walls in my BRAND NEW bathroom.
I tried to email them and call them multiple times over the weeks and have not heard any answer. I told them that if they do not answer I am going to have to leave a truthful review of their deplorable customer service, still nothing. Finally last night I emailed them from my wife's account to see if they answer that email and guess what? THEY RESPONDED WITHIN AN HOUR AT 10:30 PM!
Like I said they are great at getting your business but hopefully nothing goes wrong because they will take your money and run. In the end I spent close to $2,000 for a terrible looking floor in my new beautiful bathroom.
SAVE YOURSELF AND NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE.
I now see that there is a way to upload pictures:
1) Full Size Render - This picture is what the tile looked like after my contractor installed it using there instructions
2)IMG_2808 - In this picture you will see how there are grey circles that are started to appear in the white spaces of the tiles - keep in mind this tile is only two months old so imagine what it will look like in a year.
3) IMG_9001 and 7684 - You will see the many marks and scratches that were left after they finished installing the tile the second time.
Compare these actually pictures with the pics on the site and you will see just how different it looks in real life.

Brothers Cement Tile Corp. did a great job with my bathroom and kitchen floors. They have a great selection of beautiful designs and they are patient during the selection process. Installation was smooth, on time and quick. These Cuban brothers are professionals craftsmen who really know what they are doing. Their final product is truly impressive. We are very happy they made us the high-quality floors we fell in love with in Habana and Barcelona.

I removed an interior fountain from a 100 year-old Mediterranean home. Brothers cement tile was able to match the gold color of the original cement tiles. They also cut the tiles to size, since I needed something different than the standard 8 x 8 cement tile.
They produce the tiles themselves and can customize the colors. I inspected a lot of their product and the quality was good. Nice people, too.
I hope to use them soon for a kitchen floor.

Our encaustic cement tile floor is beautiful! We are so pleased with the quality of the tile and the beauty of the finished product. What's great about this tile is that you can choose your design and your colors. Seniel gave us advice on colors and prepared sample tiles for our approval. He was very responsive to all of our questions. We got a picture of the finished tiles as soon as they were made and then they needed 4 weeks to cure before we picked them up. So glad we chose to go this route with our kitchen floor. Thanks to Brothers Cement for a job well done.

Comment from BROTHERS CEMENT TILE CORP.:
It is satisfying to know that our customers are very pleased with our work thanks, nice combination
After doing a ton of research on the different tile makers across the country, I came across Bros Cement Tile. I see they have revamped their site a bit, but initially it was very bare bones. Don't be deterred by some of the erroneous grammar on the website - these guys are the REAL DEAL. I had the opportunity to visit their shop and was amazed at their craftsmanship and the fact that, not only did they make all the tiles themselves by hand, but they also made the machines that made the tiles! What I initially liked was the fact that they were local (near NYC) and I did not have to worry about the cost of shipping heavy tiles across the country. But after seeing their shop and how they worked, I was even more impressed. They had many samples on site that helped guide my own creation, they were amenable to my color selection and worked with me on the design. Once I told them the colors I wanted, they made me a personal sample on site and we could tweak it a bit right there, but I also had the opportunity to take it home, mull it over, and change my mind (which I did, just a bit). The tiles look gorgeous. Even those who were skeptical* said my home looked like a vacation home once the tiles were down (*the skepticism came from the fact that tiles do not remain pristine, you must be willing to have some "patina" once the tiles have been down for a while). The tiles are one of my favorite things about the house.

I hired these gentleman a year or so ago to create a batch of cement tiles with a custom color combination that I provided to them. They were able to match the samples very closely and the tiles look great. They were even willing to visit my job site a year later to correct a problem that my remodeling contractor made during the install. Next time, I'll hire the brothers to do my installation as well!
Brothers Cement Tile also manufacture all of their products right inside their shop, even using some equipment that they designed and built themselves!
In short, these guys are incredibly nice and extremely professional. They really know their trade inside and out. They offered a high quality product at a very reasonable price and went out of their way to help me feel like a valued customer and that my relatively small order was just as valuable as their larger jobs. Give them a try and have them do the installation as well!
