Having Cobalt work on my home was an excellent experience. We did a kitchen remodel with them and it turned out wonderful. Replaced roof on my victorian style home and detached garage. Also, fixed copper seams and put on new gutters and gutter guards. This house has a very steep pitched roof (22/12), a large round turret, and the backside of the house roof is over 40' off the ground. Cobalt had to use a large bucket lift to help get supplies up on the roof as well as use it when doing the turret - the guys had to hang from this lift to do most of the turret work. They also fixed 2 copper seams on a small copper roof that sets above a protruding bedroom window. David came out several times to discuss our roof and how he would do things. Our biggest concern was getting the turret done correctly. Not and easy task to take the old wood shake shingles off and put a new shingle roof on it due to the curvature and they would have to work from a lift. He answered all of our questions and concerns. David was the only contractor that I could find who had experience with round turrets. Other contractors came out and looked at the roof and said it looked okay....really? They just didn't want to work on a roof like this. David was here when the insurance adjustor was here to inspect roof. He worked very well with the insurance company. He had to talk to them several times about extra costs involved with this type of steep roof and turret. He worked with us to find a shingle that would go with the character of our home. We decided to do the whole roof in the same shingle vs putting a wood shake on the turret. We did ask David to have the turret redone. When he came by to look at it, he agreed that it didn't look right. The crew had done the snap lines incorrectly. The copper seams were fixed and look great. Our new gutters w/gutter guards look great with the trim color of our home and the new shingles. His crew cleaned up the area everyday and they were very polite. David was very easy to work with and quick to respond to calls/emails.

David Francis of Cobalt Roofing was very RESPECTFUL and knowledgeable of colors and designing. Mr. Francis knew what I wanted done to my home and got it at a fair and reasonable price. Mr. Francis crew removed rotten and old wood, caulked areas that need to be filled, made CUSTOM shutters for my front windows(OUTSTANDING!) and painted my home a warm pumpkin spice that complimented the colors in the brick......Fantastic job! Mr. Francis not only listened but gave me advisement according to the regulations and guidelines that I needed as a Disabled VETfor my ramp and lip of the entrance door. The job was done in a timely matter and ALL the workers were respectful of my property. There was never any trash of any kind at the end of a work day. I recommend Mr. David Francis for ANY VA MODIFICATION or house painting. 5 STAR service.

These folks did an excellent job building a porch for the back of our house. They were reliable, timely, and delivered on time and agreed cost. They have been on the spot to clear up a couple additional issues. I will gladly us them again should the need arise.

I had David Francis from cobalt to put a new presidential shake roof on my home and it is absolutely beautiful. They also put new 6 inch gutters around the entire perimeter of the house. The crews were very friendly and aspectful. They took care of my property and cleaned up the yard before they left. I have since highered them tocom back and paint my mlivingroom, foyer and hall way. Aabsolutely a very professional job. Came whe they said they would and did what they said they would do.. Charged me what they said they would charge and not one penny more. I highly recommend them to do any work interior or exterior. KUDOZ to the company.
