John Lum Architecture, Inc. AIA I think you would have quite a few problems with that. The initial turn-on would make quite a splash. This is in a wet room and the handle is far enough away that major splash is avoided.
carolie Well, thank YOU for the great ideas. We have a 1962 Eichler inspired home on the 10th fairway of the Green Valley CC in Fairfield, CA. We are in the process of having plans drawn for a pretty thorough remodel...retaining the 60's style and integrity of architecture. We love your work, but doubt we could afford your services -- any suggestions for designers here in the Fairfield area? Thanks again,
John Lum Architecture, Inc. AIA Carolie - Eichler, wonderful, that should be quite fun to remodel. We'd enjoy talking to you a bit about the project and your needs for a designer. Please contact Bret at 415-558-9550 ext. 21 or email at bretwalters@johnlumarchitecture.com and we can discuss it off the blog.
Ceiling-mounted tub faucet. A line of water pours down from a ceiling spout and splashes into the tub below. What a wonderful sound it must make when it hits the water. A band of light streams through the narrow vertical window and highlights this water feature.
Bathrooms are an ideal place for solitary skinny windows. They require a certain level of privacy, and expansive views are not really necessary. I'm not sure here if they window is for the owner, or the buddha?
