Our quest to provide high quality, solid, wood plank floors for the customer who appreciates traditional architecture and interior design has led us to seek out other unusual woods. In trying to serve this quality-oriented traditional market, we have discovered sources for valuable mahogany from which we are creating The Wormy Rosemount Plank floor. It is a wonderful compliment to our Antique Heart Pine floors. Mahogany millwork, such as raised paneling, has traditionally been used with heart pine floors in many 18th century houses. Some of these wonderful dwellings can be seen today on various historical house tours in Charleston, SC. Our Wormy Rosemount Plank floor is available in wide widths with a distressed appearance. Small, black worm holes are found randomly scattered in the rich, red mahogany creating a dramatic contrast in color.
