Still Life Yelena Lamm was born in Petersburg, Russia. She first began drawing in preschool, where her art teachers discovered that she had a very special talent. After secondary school, Yelena went off to study Fine Art & Restoration at Roerich College in Russia. Here she spent years restoring some of the most famous works of art from Museum Masters. In the early 90's Yelena decided to come to America, later settling in Andy Warhol's home town of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Here she attended the highly acclaimed Art Institute of PA. Here she received a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Graphic Design and a President's Award from the Institute. Yelena's career has emerged tremendously, and her art is part of the community. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced print making process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original artwork.
