Even though this bedroom was not designed for a Showhouse I can imagining it could. Overtop yet inspiring Tracy Murdock sure knows how to get the design juices flowing.
I wouldn't ordinarily think of black when choosing bedroom textiles, but I really like the dramatic contrast it creates when paired with the fresh white linens and ceiling. The addition of mirrors and titanium accents enhances the room's contemporary appeal.
Draped: Just like the perfect little black dress, this bedroom screams Versace.
Tip: Add the Greek key pattern as shown at the top of the bed to really lock in the Versace style.
While bed curtains had been used to keep out drafts even before the first four-poster was designed, the style gave this sheltering function a much more regal look.
This bedroom has modern goth splendor: It's dramatic, it's black and it's covered in heavy drapery. Unless you happen to have a pet bat, it doesn't get any better than this.

I looked at this pic and thought....."I'd never leave this bed". I looked closer and realized this is my bed at my Lakehouse.....duhh!?!? Mine just is dressed different w/ white sheers at every corner and gives it a fresher look. Wow! What a transformation.....love it! Love the black walls as well. Looks like a 5 star Hotel.
