Armed with a sprawling floor plan and unique industrial elements, the stage was set for a design project and remodel that would showcase the couple’s love of art. Board-formed concrete, steel, and wood elements were the backdrop to consider when selecting the luxurious complimenting textiles and furniture. Built-in pieces were designed to maximize the living and entertaining space while not competing with the strong structural character of the home. Early Orient art and distinctive sculpture were chosen to be displayed throughout the home amidst existing family relics. Now, gallery lighting displays the striking combined collection while large views of the stunning Port Townsend bay remain a choice backdrop to the waterfront home.
