The main living space of the house can be seen here, from the dining area. Brown, tan, blue, and green wall paint help separate various spaces. The green wall is part of the dining area and has a buffet for serving. The blue wall is a bar area with walk way through to the kitchen. The brown wall is part of the living room area and the tan wall is a smaller area for reading or eating while looking out onto the pool and back gardens of the house. The paint colors are all similar in light to dark value. There is color but not a lot of contrast between the colors. This helps maintain the Zen like Asian relaxed atmosphere. There is a cathedral ceiling in the living area that makes the entire space feel larger and open. The horizontal line of the upper windows maintains the horizontal relaxed and Zen like feel of the home.
