knowlesps Thank you for your comments on my work. It looks like your aesthetic and that of my mercer island client are very similar. Almost all of what you see in the bedroom of this house is custom. The bed is from Ted Boerner. In the living room the sectional and chairs are from Cisco. The tables are from Combray and Donghia. The rug is custom and he lamp is to the trade only. Good luck with your home design.

Long, narrow spaces can be tricky. Your instinct might have been to place the longer back end of the sectional parallel to the wall across from the fireplace here, with the two chairs across from the chaise end. However, grounding the space with a rug and facing the sectional and the chairs across from each other results in a much airier arrangement.

Is this the arrangement for the sectional in the family/dining room? The wall with framed picture would be my windowed wall, the tv would hang on left wall, and the windowed wall ere would be the north wall.
