Consigned antique Indian hand painted rolling pin. Beautiful traditional colorful hand painted wood Rajasthani rolling pins are still used in remote villages for many utilitarian purposes. Fun to collect and display in groupings. Size varies from 10-13" long. Each is wonderfully unique! Each is sold individually. Does not include bowls shown in photos.

What Is A Pinch Test? Cheaper brands often use plastic fillers in their silicone products, so it is not safe for high-temperature baking. Pinch and twist a bit of the silicone, if it turns white, it's got fillers as 100% pure silicone will retain its color.

Tagines are getting more and more popular in the cooking community. It slow-cooks of meat and/or vegetables. The tall lid allows steam to circulate only within the tagine, slowly cooking the food to perfection without destroying the texture or losing the flavors.
This tagine is unglazed, thus remains the original texture of the ceramics. Tagine cooking is an experience. It requires seasoning the tagine beforehand, and the cooking itself takes hours too. But this is what cooking was about in Morocco when I was a child. It is about taking time to prepare and celebrate food.
