We first hired Ron to do a kitchen and two bathroom remodel at our home in Lincoln Village West over 20 years ago, on recommendations from friends. He was easy to work with, had excellent sub contractors, and helped us with selection and purchase of new kitchen appliances and bathroom fixtures. His rates were reasonable and his workmanship was the highest quality. Since then we have asked Ron to come back a number of times for smaller jobs from structural repair to electrical and plumbing, and his work continues to be excellent. We have referred Ron to a number of our family members and friends over the years and all have become great fans of Ron and Avalon Builders. He is a master craftsman with skills not easily found in today's construction market.

Ron has been my go-to contractor for about 30 years. He is honest, with absolute integrity, and has amazing knowledge about every aspect of a house. He does excellent work and I trust him completely on both his craftsmanship and his advice. He knew every inch of our house in Stockton and improved it amazingly. I have lived in Sacramento for almost 10 years now and have not found another contractor as good as Ron--I'll just have to hire him to come up here instead. Ì hired Ron after five bids and five intrrviews. He was easy to talk to and had great suggestions. We were adding a study, bathroom, laundry, and bedroom. He oversaw the entire project, bringing wonderful electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and adding his skills as well. Ron hung doors, added trim, painted, and so much more. Ron met both deadlines and budget estimates.

I have been lucky enough to have Ron Dircksen of Avalon Builders helping me with house projects for nine years. I often recommend him to others, as he is honest, reliable, and very knowledgeable about all aspects of building. The fact that he's a wonderful person and doesn't condescend to women--as some contractors do—has made him my go-to person. Ron has either supervised or done the work himself on just about all my home improvements and maintenance: plumbing, painting, roofing, replacing flooring, dealing with dry rot, and so on. When a burglar kicked in my door and I was out of town, Ron was at the house right away to board up the door. Later, he did a meticulous job of fixing the area around the door frame. I trust Ron so much that he has a key to my house, should anything else happen while I'm away (like roof leaks). He deserves my unqualified recommendation!

Ron did a complete remodel of our condo two years ago. I hired him on the recommendation of a friend whose opinion I trust. He was very complete in his estimate and he did a great job. I was impressed with his work ethic, he always did what he said he would do. He is a meticulous craftsman and does a fine job that we were proud to show to our friends. HIs subcontractors are very good and I have no complaints about any of their work either. I have used him for smaller jobs subsequently and he always does the same fine work. I would recommend him to anyone. His prices are completely reasonable as well.
