About Us

Custom home builder/general contractor A MESSAGE FROM THE OWNER, I’ve been building and remodeling custom homes in the Warren Township - Basking Ridge – Bernardsville area for over 25 years. Whether you’re starting from scratch on an empty lot or just wishing to rework an existing home, each project has its unique character ... each client their unique hopes and wishes. My goal is to help each customer achieve theirs … through a manageable, collaborative process. My belief is the most valuable reference I have is not the photos of the finished products within this site but rather the relationships established with my homeowners. Dave Krimmel designed and built our home. His attention to detail, combined with his extraordinary talent in design and construction resulted in a beautiful home and was a rewarding and pleasant project. Dave provided helpful input on every element of woodwork, stone, brick, tile, and fixture. His calm and easygoing demeanor made the process a pleasure. The work product is absolutely flawless. After three years, we still smile every time we come home. We highly recommend DBK Builders.

I had the pleasure of working with DBK Builders on a large home renovation and New Deck Expansion on a home in Chester, Dave was an asset to the project, bringing his experience and construction knowledge to the project. His willingness to explore creative approaches to the many design and construction challenges presented by a major renovation proved to enhance the final results.

David helped me with my renovation project from top to bottom for a 7000 square foot single family house. It was an absolute pleasure working with him. He was a great problem solver and a real crafts man. Considering how many additional requests that i come up with, the projects is finished in a timely fashion with a controlled budget. I would have no hesitance to hire him again for similar projects.
