Harris Waterproofing & Construction waterproofed my basement this year - I live in a home that was originally built in 1938 and it has a drive-under garage. The last straw was after a big rain storm I opened the garage door to let water OUT of the basement. Harris' team jackhammered through the floor all the way around on the very outer edge of floor so that they could put drains in. Then plastic sheeting about 4' high went in around all the walls and ends at the floor into some thin metal vent-type things that allow the water to pass into the drain. Concrete went in after the drains were prepared to seal the area back up (looks just like regular floor now) and the plastic sheeting on the walls makes everything look very clean. I can have tables with storage boxes pushed up to the walls now and don't have to worry about everything getting water damage. Harris' team was trustworthy (I left them at the house while I went to work each day) and FAST and the basement has been bone dry ever since! I can store things in the basement now and the furniture doesn't have to be up on blocks. They did a great job and as a real estate agent I recommend them often.

We bought our house two years ago, moved in an at the first rain had a real problem in the basement. We knew there had been water in the basement before, but not to this degree. I found Tim Harris because he was local and wanted to use a local contractor. When I read the reviews I did not believe he could be this good. Everyone was singing his praises and saying how good he was. They were so good I thought it might be a set up. But I went with Tim anyway. What I found was everyone was right, Tim Harris was that good. They came in gave me a very reasonable estimate, described exactly what the work would be like, started exactly on time,, his guys worked very hard, did a great job, cleaned up and two years later through many hard rains no water at all. The work I got seemed to be more than the worked that Tim quoted me for. They went over and beyond to make sure this basement was going to stay dry forever. They cut a french drain around the entire perimeter of the basement (it is a very large basement), back filled with gravel and concrete, connected it to piping and ran the piping all the way to back of the property which is about 150 feet away buried underground. When they left, it was hard to tell they had even been here. I know now why so many people were so high on Tim and his group. I am now one of his many admirers.
